What units are the home and spawn range numbers in? Are they according to the pixels on the map (4336, 3525, 0) etc, or some other sort of numbering?
I'm trying to get good regions made, but when I type in a value for them to spawn, its always too big or too small. I would guess and check (actually I have been) but if there is a certain way it's numbered, it would save alot of hassle. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, but just in case you don't, here is an example: On Moonglow I want orcs to spawn in a box 200 pixels wide (according to the map on UOAM.) I set the spawn properties up, and set the home and spawn ranges for 200. The box that is supposed to contain the orcs would be larger then what I measured. Thanks for any replies and comments. ![]() -Scott |

the area that you as a char take up is one square...and it's those square units that I believe the ranges are in in terms of a Radius...so if you wish to spawn them in an area that is 200 square units wide by 200 square units long I would set the spawner in the middle and set your distance to 100...if this is what your after that is.

The units are map "tiles." Pretty much anything is measured in tiles. When your character takes one step it is one tile. Also, your "radar" or overhead map in large mode is about 75 tiles from center to edge.
Spawner ranges are a square centered on the spawner. The size of the square is actually (range X 2) + 1. Best illustrated by example. A value of zero sets a square one tile large... the tile the spawner sits on. A value of one sets a square 3 by 3, or the one the spawner sits on plus one in each direction. A value of 100 will get your 200 by 200 (really 201 by 201) square. To get your current location as a GM or higher type [Get Location. Or just judge by your radar. It does sound like the map you are using is giving you proper coordinates.
