This happens when your boat decays. Your boat can only spend so much time on the water before it decays. Thats why you should dry dock it when its not being used.

Ok, just to clear this up then,

back when i played on osi if you left your boat unattended and not refreshed it would decay after 7 days.... ( or however long it is), so now are you saying that boats have a lifespan and will all decay after a set period of use?

i get what he was saying....

once put on water, a timer starts.....if that timer reaches zero, the boat decays...if you drydock the boat (where you get the ship modle to put in your pack) it resets so that next time you put in water, it is like having a new boat

and didn't anchoring it also lengthen the time before decay? i can't remember on OSI

Ok, then there is a problem here since the boat is supposed to refresh... specially when a player is on it when it sinks.... lol

I'm not sure the boats still refresh on OSI. Perhaps someone who has a boat on OSI or even stratics could answer that.

Yeah, cant see why it wont refresh anymore on osi, since players can get stuck at sea.. and it looks odd standing on water... lol

Like you say, maybe somone has the answer...

they only refresh when turned to the modle....if you leave at sea, then yes, they do decay and they don't refresh

Leaving at sea means leaving it in a water tile

and the anchor comment, i think it just lengthened the time...not stopped it from decay

that is what it was when i was on osi....i would still look just in case, but...
