Hello will RunUo support UO:Samurai Empire when that comes out ???

The goal of runuo is to be a 100% clone of what is on the real servers. If it is there it will eventually be in runuo.

RunUO is meant to be a UO Emulator, and as such, include the features and content associated with such.

So when the team is ready for it, yes, it likely will.

as well as the fact im worried about the samuri one hit kill abilty as well. that just worrys me to much. im afraid it will be abused.

It's not One Hit Kills.

It's "Attempts to kill an opponent in one hit".

There was already some discussion about it on Stratics. It's not nearly as "all powerful" as it seems.

Depends. Some of the pics look to be concept (IE: Models pasted onto the client screen).

They'll probably change some of them before release.

I just want them to include Tengu. If Ninja are a class, then damnit, they'd BETTER have Tengu!

Yeah the new expansion looks like shit. Their monsters have too much perspective to be in such a flat world. Also, none of this fuedal stuff goes with the medieval british stuff. Then again, UO is a hogpog and I guess thats why people love it.

At least finally some 2D art for the Japanese armor. Those things are supposed to be crafted made from wood in reality, right?

Depends on the items. Japan did have wooden armour, but they also had leather and metal too (just like everywhere else ;->)

As for the Lady In The Snow, I was surprised to see that as a monster. It's Japanese without doubt, it's just not well known for the most part :->

Thus my hopes for a Tengu ^_^

What i think is damn funny is it takes the guys at ea how long to do this? And it takes them 1 month for the folks to catch up at runuo? Nuts really... Ashame they dont come out with their own expansion. Ea/osi sux expansion where alot of cool stuff is added, except alot of briliant scripters already did most of that

It is ALWAYS easier to copy than it is to create from scratch.

Thus where we can just use a packet logger to see WHAT EA is doing, EA actually has to do it from scratch. Takes longer, you have to admit.
