Help With Patches Plzzzz

Hi, I have been researching how our shard can apply patches, Understanding everything fine except for Where I post the patches For gateway to recognize. Anyone can tell me Of a Place they have thier web page , I am of course hopeing for free and I would prefer to go this route other than using a Program to do the patches. I have searched and asked around But still havn't found a Direct help answer to this and I am completely lost. I have looked at all diffferent places that offer free web space and Ftp capability even This one called Ocatch had Ftp capable But I couldnt get it to work properly. We are really excited To Put a new face on our shard With Custom areas etc. If Only I could get someone to help Us with this, so If anyone has any suggestions It would be GreatlY apreciated! thank you so much for any and all response!
