4.0.5a update/razor - RunUO

Ive recently patched with osi, and have not been able to connect (uog) due to the new patch some tell me?, also someone told me i need AOS now to play?
main questions are
1. What are my options or solution?
2. do i need AOS?
3. Will a fix be available soon, if so when?

Uninstall your Current UOGateway, and reinstall the Updated Version of UOGateway

The current release of Razor works perfectly with the current client version. There is no reason you should not be able to use it.

well i installed the new expansion and installed uogateway like you sead but i still can not connect to my server. Is there something else??

My guess your using the wrong version of UO Gateway, if its the current beta release, then you got the wrong version.

I have had this problem and so have some players on my shard with 3d client. If the new patches were downloaded we were unable to connect to the server. Why? I am not sure but i had to reinstall and patch it and stopped before it patched the latest uo patch.

Not a valid UO client 2004-08-19

Because of changes in the 4.0.3c uo client UOGateway 1.8 now says "Not a valid UO client" when trying to login to a server. If you have this problem you can fix it by installing the latest beta version of UOGateway 1.9.

This message came from uo.gateway.com main page. Go to that site and you'll find 1.9

I don't care your using the WRONG VERSION, download the current Beta Version and fix your problem.

I was having the same problem back a few uo patches. I downloaded the UOG 1.9 and didn't have a problem. Still haven't had a problem after upgrading to UO:SE.

I have to agree with Phantom on this, you're using the wrong version of UOG. Make sure you are using UOG 1.9

When you disagree with somethat that is a correct, then your trying to make an argument out of something that cannot be disputed.

I had this same problem it seems one of latest patches encrypts ur client?
maybe just a wild guess but anyway i downloaded program called "UORice" from searching on google and this removed the encryption or something from my client, anyways it worked after that...

Quests, PvP, Trade and economy, first char. on account starts with 7xGM.
