Unhappy Please, I need help, I am crazy!

Hi, I am new on te forum. My name is Matías, I am from Argentina. I want to star my own sever. I have just downloaded the "RunUO 1.0 RC0 - WITHOUT .NET FRAMEWORK" without any problems. I installed the 2 setups, again without any problems. But then, I entered to the RUNUO page and start reading the instructions for changing the name and the ip of the server, and it said that the folder "Scripts" has the file ServerList.cs but I don't have it! I installed again all, but I can't find it, please help me!!

Thanks, bye.

You use a router?

If you have a static IP you can easily go to www.myipaddress.com and copy/past it into there, then go to 198.162.0.0 (maby) or 198.162.1.1 in your web browser and FORWARD the RunUO port to the correct computer address. To find your correct computer address go to Start -> Run -> command. A command prompt will pop up in the command prompt type "ipconfig" if you have xp. (i can't remeber the win2k one) it will display your current computers ID so that your router knows which computer to forward that port to.

If you have a dynamic IP go to www.no-ip.com and make an account and download the ip tracker tool to the pc you want to keep track of ip. (They have a list of instructions on the site) then your ip that you will be putting in the serverlist.cs will be somthing like mine, which is ryst.no-ip.org (you will also put this ip on uogateway)

I hope this helps!

Good post Seven.

What type of Router are you using? If it is Linksys, you will have an easy time setting up your Forwarding.

Log in (almost) like Seven said "192.168.1.1". Then click on the "Advanced" Tab.

Under the Advanced Menu, click on Port Forwarding. Add in the Forward for Port 2593 (or whatever port you use with RunUO). Put in your IP (Most likely 100 or 101) in the space provided, and hit Apply.

Now you need to go into your UOGateway set up, Add a Local Server Listing and in the IP Zone place the IP of your Computer, not the Router. This IP Can be located at www.whatismyip.com or similar websites. Take that IP And place it into the block provided with in UOGateway, hit apply (Please make sure the ports match. UOGateway & Linksys PortForwarding).

From there you should be able to log in once you Compile your scripts.
