UOML Support UOG??

Hello.
When i load & install latest version of UOG, UOG cant see what client i have instaled. UOG write what you dont have any client instaled.
But i have UOML...
What wrong? OR maybe need modify some file??

Most of the time when people get this error, its because of their software firewall settings. UO Gateway does indeed support UO:ML to client version 5.0.6c at least, although any client after that it will fail to remove the encryption.

If you want to continue to use UOGateway to connect then don't patch any higher then client 5.06.e

So the problem is that UOG doesnt see your installation of UO:ML? The setting pane shows 'no clients installed'?

Really an issue to be looked over at the UOG forums. Some searching would have brought this up:

The problem with UOG v1265 and v1266 is that there are no entries for just Mondains Legacy. I have the same problem you described and I just manually changed one file and it worked. Here are the steps:

1) Install Mondains Legacy (I put mine in c:\Program Files\Ultima Online)
2) Install UOGateway 1.9.0.1266
3) Launch UOGateway and then exit it.
4) Go to "C:\Program Files\UOGateway" in windows explorer
5) Open the "uog.rar" archive and extract out "shards.xml"
6) Open "shards.xml" in your favorite text editor (TextPad for me)
7) At the very bottom in the <clients> </clients> area you need to add a 12th and 13th entry. Here are my entries:

<client id="12" name="Mondains Legacy 2D" regkey="SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0" regvalue="Exepath" filename="client.exe" tp="Z" verinfo="WIN32_ML" />

<client id="13" name="Mondains Legacy 3D" regkey="SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0" regvalue="Exepath" filename="uotd.exe" tp="Z" verinfo="WIN32_ML" />

8 ) Save the file.
9) Open back up "uog.rar"
10) Copy your "shards.xml" file over the one in "uog.rar"
11) Start up UOG and you are on your way!

How do I know this works? I just did it! Smile

Which is the only solution that worked for me when I had the same sort of problem. Some sort of firewall issue when fetching the latest uog.rar some say.

That fix listed above was something I posted. The funny part is that I got ridiculed by the UOG admins saying it wasn't needed and that nothing was broke.
