is it worth it to make a shard and go through the work to making it and all???? Cause theres like a 90% chance it wont go anywere just wondering what peeps thought aobut it is it worht the time and work to go no were?

To me its a Hobby so its totally worth it to me.

Agreed. I have about 10 or 12 people that play consistently... and even though we are looking for some more faces, we don't want to really 'go anywhere.' We love just playing and having some fun.

That's what it's all about.

i can honestly say it is worth it!!!!
AoA has been going now for over a year and a half, and we have 30+ online average now, and we are a very specialized shard - not easy at all - so finding players that like our style is hard
I really enjoy scripting for it, hearing the players say how much they love it. It is a "work of art" for me - trying to sculpt it into the perfect shard (in my eyes - beautty is in the eye of the beholder)
and it is a "work" of love

it takes dedacation, lots of time - i mean lots of time - lots of disapointments too (when regular players leave for what ever reason) and a ton of patience
It took me this long to have a good 50-60 regular players on here - it does not happen over night - but the feeling you get when they are in chat saying how wonderful it is - makes it all worth it at the end of the day

That depends on you. If you're not passionate about your shard, it will fail.

If it's a hobby you enjoy doing then yes it's always worth it.

I think that the worth it is in the making. If that's not the value, then it's probably not worth it, although if you have a few friends, and hang out on your shard, then the worth it is in the hanging.

I agree with those that say if it's a hobby, it works. I don't believe you have to be over-the-top passionate about it, but you need to make a shard that you want. Do what you want to do with a shard and you will attract players that want the same things you do, which will make a much more "tight" shard. You will have players that enjoy the shard because of the same reasons you do.

ya im on my shard 24/7 we started last like wednesday and we had 11 peeps on one time was our max just wondering how good that was =P were like lets see one week tomarrow but ya im passionate about and spend a lot of time on it and such but ya i duno just wanted others thought on it
