Server machine / host help
I am going to rent a dedicated server from dc.There is 10mbit connection here.But there is something that i must learn about this.How much a uo server uses bandwith ? Monthly traffic ? Can anyone help me

UOGamers Hybrid - the largest server ever (*cough*) uses roughly 8 megabits at peak times... during large events where we have a lot of particpants it can hit 15 - 20.

10mbit is more then enough. I have 100 since it was part of the deal when I swapped servers but I was on 10 before and only used like 1% of that, no joke. Maybe 10% at peak times like a big guild doing a champ spawn or event.
I attached a sample graph of this month to give you an idea of usage. Of course this varies from shard to shard. I use this server for DNS as well as email so thats a decent chunk of the bandwidth. |
