at my office so cant test the server.. I understand the server dumps into the sql database.. but does the sql database effect the server??? what i am saying is.. if i add an item to a player through the sql database does it get added to them ingame?? if so when.. on save? or restart? or instantly?

No. The SQL is just for web pages to use, runuo never reads from the DB, just writes to it.

aye i played with this last night a bit..

wondering if it is writen through MyRunUO, when it updates it could check say a "addtoplayer" type table, which would add items to the players backpack. and delete the entry from the SQL database.

will have to look through and see how its handled but this should be possble.

I run business here in Finland and i take 35€/h for pretty much everything.

first off I don't mind paying since I am normally busy.. eventually though I would figure it out. if you want to work for me though its by project not by hour. =P

When i finish working for WCell, my shard, new UO RICE and someone's shard, i will be available

I only work by the hour though..

=P lol.. I am not currently looking to hire on someone else to work on my site.. its a rather enjoyable learning experience atm. though i think i would pay someone the boring tedious task of rescripting all the npcs and new npcs for my faction system.. lol
