Question How to play UO on Linux?

Hello everbody,

I Want play UO on linux, but i can not play, because i don't know how to configure.

I Have installed The Mondains Legacy, downloaded from original web site,
Then i installed dot.net from wine
And the Razor with wine too, but i can not play yet.

Someone can help me ?

Have you checked out this thread in Mono Support yet? How to Configure RunUO for Linux
It and others like it in there should help.

I think he just wants to play through wine. Not host a server.

What doesn't work? The connection to a server?
Are you able to execute razor through wine?

Yes i just wanna play in official server or shards.
But when i try create an account i received an error.
I Clik in account (fig1) then a message appeaers (fig2)
It's ".../ultima-registration.com does not exist"
I can not understand, I need more things to do for work this?

I think he is using razor with the feature to remove the encryption turned on... I think he should not be using razor to connect to the official shards from EA... I remember hearing something about it is not allowed, but I might be thinking of something else. However, if it is using the remove encryption feature it would not be able to connect to the official shards... Am I right?

razor doesnt work on linux afaik

I have not seen out of the box support for dot net on wine, but it is possible to install it and get it working.

My question to smurf is; did you try to register online instead of through the client?

I install .Net from wine, but have very bugs, many softwares can'nt work corretely.

Yes I try register with the client.
