Complaints on Kingdom Of Drag's Staff - RunUO

For anyone who might no of Kingdom Of Drag also known as "KOD" I was there today and a player named Jacob Jeckel would constantly harass me. I complained to staff to do something but they just said Jacob was a friend and to deal with it. I thought to my self "What a bad answer for a dev. to give a player whos being harassed" so i became angry as it progressed and i would yell back at Jacob and then staff would growl at me for my harassment. I felt i had no other choice the to turn to the Runuo team themselves, as the owner only took his admins side and Jacobs side. I am hoping you can change this or if necessary take the server offline! Thanks so much RunUo Staff! I hope you can take care of the problem ASAP!

The RunUO team has no control over how badly someone runs a shard. And I highly doubt they would "take it offline", even if they could. My suggestion would be find a different shard to play on.

Dear RunUO staff,

While you're at it, I have been getting these really annoying spam emails lately. I get them almost every day. I'd appreciate it if you could please ban them from the internet for me. I'd really appreciate it if you took care of this right away as the emails are annoying me.

Also, I have a corn on my big toe, please remove it ASAP.

Well as owner of K.O.D. , i gave Pyro man a staff position and he proceeded to use it to give his player everything he wanted , and when told he couldn't do that he didn't seem to understand why . needless to say he was demoted , and when he came back he though a fit and quit . then he comes back as a player and can't stop conplaining about the staff and one of the players killin him , sorry its a pvp shard and there is alot of killing and name calling , it just goes with players getting angry . he is still allowed to play and has even asked me how to get his server up and running , to which i directed him here to the runuo forums for all the help he needs . sorry but i guess you just can't please everyone .

However, the real point is that RunUO can't, won't, and shouldn't be involved in disputes between shard owners and shard members/former members. The RunUO team produces server emulator software, they aren't the "shard police" for everyone who uses the software. So this probably isn't the right place to air grievances about shards (or players on shards).

You really have no understanding of RunUO or the community that powers it do you? As others have suggest the only solution is to either deal with the fustration or find yourself a new server.

It would be cool to hide a little kill switch somewhere in the code. Remotely turn it on and have the runuo files delete them selfs lol

Isn’t it time to disclose the fact that all running RunUO servers have a secret back door entrance, and that the admins of RunUO use these back doors to: a) spy upon hardworking shard owners? b) Interfere with artifact drop rates? c) Impersonate staff? d) Place disgusting jokes on the public boards… etc. etc. The list goes on and on…
