Nooo!!! - RunUO

I hit shutdown without save, and now mu shard has been down since last night, and I don't know how to get it going again, all my players are wanting to play... I don't have a scriptor so do any maint.. So I am stuck. I have a TON of ideas but nobody to do them, I don't know how to write scripts.

You mean your shard went down when you shutdown your PC ? Then it will roll back to the last auto save ( assuming you have auto save enabled).

Also just run the RunUO.exe to get it up again. And this forum is not the place to find a scripter for your shard buddy

Oh, well, I wasn't trying to find a scripter, I was just explaining why I am asking such a simple question. But no, I hit "Shutdown (without save). And that was that.

Shutdown without a save just means that it will revert to the most previous save.

Oh, well regardless it will backup to the last save on your server..so just click the RunUO.exe file to start it up again and you should be good to go

Ok, well, like i said, I never did any of this, my borther got me started and walked away. I am trying to get into my server from my computer. So I can UO.exe and get my shard back up. I am getting yelled at on ICQ all morning from players.

Yea no worries, just find the icon RunUO.exe hammerhand showed you in the screenshot, click it let the black server box load up, and viola! Your server is good to go

Ok, shard is back up... So just curious, how do I get custom scripts in my shard... Just copy and paste what you guys show me somewhere... where do I copy and Paste them?

Ok first off, your server is or should be under your C://RunUO/ that is where all your folders, scripts, core, and etc is. So for custom scripts i suggest going into your scripts folder, then making a new folder and name it customs ( for custom scripts ). Once you have done that depending on what your looking for search the custom script release archive and they will have a plathora of scripts you can download and use! Hope this helps

Edit: Sorry i didnt tell you, but once you have the scripts download just unzip them, because most likely they will be zipped and drag and drop them into your custom scripts folder, and then restart your server in-game with the [Restart command.!!

Yup , it really is and if you have problems with your scripts check out the script support forum, and for problems with your server check out the server support for windows and post your issues in there. Someone should be able to help you out!! Good Luck
