Hey guys,
i'm a little confused. Can anyone tell me, whether the map0 size of the client has been increased with one of the latest patches? I remember, there was a large discussion about the new 6.0 client, but as far as I can remember, it was just about the seperation of map0 and map1. Anyway, I just reinstalled and patched UO:ML after a brand new Windows installation and I noticed, that the size of staidx0.mul has been increased by more than 1mb. The staidx, as far as I know, correlates exactly to the map-size because it contains the file-positions of each item-stack in the 8x8 blocks of the map. So a bigger staidx means more map-blocks which means the map size has been increased. Can you confirm this? If the size has been changed, what is the exactly size now? I'm sorry if i missed a discussion about this, but I didn't find anything using the search. |
