Question Errors, errors and more errors!

It seems each time I add a new script and restart the server it can not find a previous script and therefore wont load. What is going on with that? I mean the csg will say it could not find a script or invalid string in it. I remove the script totally and it still says the same thing. Is there any way to revert the server to where it was prior to adding the script?

I had to totally wipe the shard last night and now today I added a script and cant get back on once again! Please please PLEASE, someone help!

: hangs her head and cries :

Hi all, Im fairly new to this and am learning. I really need some help with this one tho. It appears that at time when I add a new script (downloaded from here) that I end up with error messages when I go to restart server. Here is the one I am getting now.

-ERROR: :CS2001: (line 0, column 0) SOURCE FILE 'C:WINDOWS|DESKTOP|UO FREESHARDS|RUNUO-BETA36\Scripts\Custom\~$dable drake.cs' could not be found
Scripts: One or more scripts failed to comply or no script files were found.
-Press return to exit, or R to try again

OK, I had downloaded the ridable mount script and all was going fine till I added the shrink script today. I restarted, or attempted to restart the server and this is the error message I had gotten. What could be wrong?

Is there anyway I can revert the server back to where it was before I had downloaded the shirnk script? Any help would be much appreciated!

Can't you just back out the ridable mount script? It looks like a problem with ridable drakes. Skrink probably does not know how to handle those since they're are a custom script.

*scratches head* That's odd. It knows the location of the script it can't find huh?

CS2001: (line 0, column 0) - ~$dable drake.cs

To me that looks like you will need a new harddisk soon :-)

Since you're running Win9X obviously, try scanning your harddisk with scandisk with a FULL sector check and have it fix any errors.

Just fyi:

Win9X = Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME
WinNT = Windows NT 3, Windows NT 4, Windows 2k, Windows XP & probably any other new windows.

:-)

Didn't think of a bad save though. :-/ Glad you got it fixed.
