Modifying Scripts - RunUO

Just like everyone else, Im new here also...

Before I make my shard go public, I want to learn how to alter what scripts I need to in order to modify my shard according to my liking. The only thing is, I dont understand C# and tried once already to learn to read it, but that failed misserably. The first thing I want to do is to change the fact that on my shard, regs. are required... what should I look for to change this?
