Default problem on RCO install

i keep getting this error on install

could not write value DefaultFeature to key
UNKNOWN\Features\D6374FA2CBED5FD4596BDASAE2FB2B84.
Verify tht you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel



thank you in advance

gonna try to add screenshot of it and the 2 error on server load

ytou need to be a local administrator of the machine you are installing on.

as far as i know i am, winME, i the only user on system, is there a chance i can get some help on setting local admin up?

did u ever resolve your problem bc im having the same problem. ill look around teh forums to see if any answers were given to you. but if u want to message me.. thats fine too.

From what I can see the answer is to not use the shortcut made by the runuo installer and to go directly to your runuo directory and run runuo.exe

ok.. ive done that and loaded and saving world and all.. but i cant get into world on uogateway.

Don't use the default shortcut, create your own and you should have no problem whats so ever.

Default Same errors, and fixed it

I got those same errors as you two did, when I was using the default shortcut. that shortcut is to the installer, not the server itself. Like the other wolf, and Phantom said, go in, make another shortcut to the runuo.exe itself and use that. works fine on avoiding that local administrator error
