Default Translated problem

I have a problem withBase quest (Collector quest) in Runuo 1.0. I have translated the quests to other language, but they are still in English. Thanks for your help.

Odds are you only translated the comments of the code, since that's all that is in the file to translate. The gumps use Cliloc identifiers, and to edit that you'll need to send them a gump with a string that contains your quest details instead of a Cliloc ID, I'm not sure if the quest gumps have constructors for string though, but they should..

Sako, if you do need to translate some of the Cliloc entries, I can give you a simple trick that I used. I am French Canadian, so I wanted to translate the whole English Cliloc, which would have been a big waste of time. All you have to do is to use the Cliloc viewer. Start the Cliloc viewer, open the French Cliloc file (named FRE I believe), then merge it with the English Cliloc file. Although you will still need to translate a fair amount of entries, your new Cliloc file will be at least half translated.

This example was for French, but you can do it with any of the Cliloc files in the client directory.

I don't even know if you'll need to do this, but if you do, I hope that the information I gave you will be useful.

You can get the Cliloc viewer here. It is very easy to use. BE SURE TO MAKE BACKUPS of the Cliloc files you want to modify.

Good luck!

True, but one can also view the Cliloc file with the editor. I have always used the editor, since it serves both purposes: it allows the viewing and the editing of Clilocs. Thanks for specifying.
