Frustration - RunUO

Alright, I'm new here...and I sound like I'm just whining about things but I'm so frustrated and confused at the same time.

The things I've downloaded:

Runuo
UoGateway
Pandora's Box 2
Razor B16
Location Editor
Hue Manager
Reigon Editor
Map Viewer
Set Up Bete 1.9.1254
UO_Rice

And that would be all...I would like to know where the files are supposed to be put if that may be the problem on why I can't get a shard even open or do anything at all for that matter. Maybe I need more downloads, if so, what are they? And if any advice possible...someone could give me some.

Just checking cause its not listed, You got Ultima Online downloaded?

Yep, you sure got a list going there. All you really need to open a shard is a UO client and RunUO. Then, UO Gateway (or UO-Rice) will enable your client to bypass it's builtin encryption and connect to your shard.

The others are to help you manage your shard, Pandora's Box being by far the most useful. Most of the rest of your list I am aware of but have never or rarely used.

Yes, I've got the Ultima Online download. Lol. But I dunno...it's just still not working. I can't open a map or anything. It keeps say on UOGateway that I need UO2D or UO3D Something like that... Oh sheesh..it's just confusing. I mean, I want to edit a map and actually get on my own shard to fix other things. So ya..

Well no offense, but so far you really haven't told us anything we can use to help you. What have you tried, with what results? Has anyone tried to connect to the shard, and what was their result? If you have any error messages that would be nice to hear as well.

One of the things I notice that isn't on your list of downloads is teh Microsoft .net Framework. I think you'll need to have that installed for RunUO to work.

Someone with more experience then me should back this up, but this may be your problem.
