Downloaded UoGateway, but it dosent work! - RunUO

I downloaded UOGateway, I can open the program, but when I click on the buttons the program only show a wihte screen! =S I have downloaded and istalled the Visual Basic 6 tuntimes. What can be the problem????

Well judging by your other post it says your shard is running therefore youi must have .net framework. I don't know what's wrong with your UOgateway.

But now I use Uo-rise Instead. Worked perfect.

I'm hoping this thread is still active. I have UOG installed, have all the requirements to my knowledge, and also have UOGLite installed. When I try to log onto a shard, it brings up the shard screen. I enter my password and it say connecting, then goes to Verifying Account. It stays there, and I cannot log on. So, essentially, my UOGateway doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this? I will check to see if I have the necessary programs, and reply if it still doesn't work.

Thanks go out to anyone and everyone for your help.

Does it do this for every shard you attempt to connect to?

Yes. My gateway messed up sometime either at the beginning of this year or sometime last year. I think it was due to a new patch or something. I've been using Razor in order to log in.

are you fully patched with OSI? UOGateway does not support a fully patched client.. I forget the revision number at which it stops working, but osi changed the encryption and it no longer works. Try ConnectUO desktop, its really a nice program made by Jeff here at RunUO. ConnectUO - Shard List

5.0.65 and above doesnt work..

To clarify: The newer UO Client versions no longer work with UOGateway.

You must use ConnectUO or Razor to get onto shards with the newer clients.

Both work very well.
