client crashes when using magery - RunUO

Ive had my shard up for a couple of days now, i downloaded a few scripts and added them, ive suddenly got a problem, whenever i cast a magery spell my client crashes i can move around with a gate ball its not just on my own shard but also other uo gateway free shards. can anyone give me a reason why this might be happening ty

No one can tell you what the problem is without knowing what you added exactly. If you add scripts be sure to test them in game before you add others or you end up with a mess.

This must be an error with your UO not your server, try re-installing UO and see if that works.

I have tried uninstalling UO and then reinstalling it but it made no changes to my problems. I think it may have something to do with staff characters as magery works fine on my normal accounts.

After you uninstall sometimes the program lingers somewhere else in your pc. Reset afterwards and do a search to be sure you have removed all of yer runuo folders. Also it may be an issue with your pc itself scan it for virsuses. If this does't work the only other thing i can think is uninstall you uo and reinstall that.

found the problem it was the brackets in my admin char's name. a friend on another shard had the same problem
