I have a hardware related question, I have searched the forums extensively and have found nothing to help me out.
I have 2 computers. I plan on building one as a server and using the other to connect to the server and run the client, however I do not currently have the internet. Is it possible to connect to my server computer with my client computer through some kind of hardware configuration? |

Get yourself a Local Area Network card for each computer ( most motherboards have them built in these days), and a LAN (Network) cable.
Go into your Control Panel (in Windows XP), and click on the Network setup wizard. This will make a floppy disk, which you insert into the Client machine, to set it up. Just set up UO Gateway (on the client machine) to communicate via IP: 127.0.0.1, 2593. This is the default IP of a Home Network. I hope this helps. ![]() |
