Error on install... - RunUO

I'm trying to install runUO 1, I'm getting the following error on install;

Could not write value DefaultFeature to key UNKNOWN/Features/D6374FACBED5FD4596BOABAE2FB2B84

I have .NET 1 SP1 installed.

Help?

Is that .Net FrameWork & the Service Pack 1 or is that just the .Net Service Pack 1?

You need to install the .Net FrameWork. No point in installing the .Net Service Pack 1 unless you have the .Net FrameWork installed first.

The way I read it you've installed the .Net Service Pack 1, but not the .Net FrameWork. Which is whats required for RunUO.

That made no sense whats so ever, leave the answers to the proffesionals

You need to install the .NET Framework 1.1 DO NOT INSTALL the SP 1 it wil cause you problems.

1.0 IS NOT THE CORRECT VERSION UNINSTALL IT!

install .net anything you can find of version 1.1 on it, get it all outta the way. then reinstall runuo 1.0 should work, like he said

No reason to reinstall RunUO as that would do nothing whats so ever. The problem is exactly what I stated.
