RunUO hates me - RunUO

How come every couple times I start my server up using 1.0, INSTEAD of starting my server, RunUO decides to completely reinstall itself over all my old server files and screw everything up. I swear it happens using the exact same exe I use to start up my server with. Am I using the wrong one or what? This never happend in any of the Betas for me.

Are you running it from the installed folder, or the downloaded file? The downloaded file is the installation package.

I use the exe it throws in my Start menu, but it's also happened when using the server.exe file from my RunUO folder.

dont use that one, use the one in your runuo software team folder in the program files

That's the one I have been using. And it still does it every 15-20 times I use it.

Your running the shortcut the installer which like the first reply said, don't use the default shortcut.

Run the exe itself and this CANNOT HAPPEN.

If it happens then your still running the freaking shortcut, so stop.

Just remake the shortcut on the desktop.
