Scripting - RunUO

hey i was wondering:
1. what scripting languages i need to learn to edit and make uo scripts,
2. if anyone here could help me learn them...

RunUO is written in C#, and so are the scripts. You could do a Google search for a tutorial site or buy a couple of books to help learn it.

k i started to learn a bit about it i can understand simple things like how to edit a sword or such. ill probly order a book or find someon to talk to abotu it too...

I would also suggest getting and using SharpDevelop. It is a great tool for C#.

ya i got it im just tryin to learn like the main stuff about uo scripting so i can start experimenting and get better or maybe fidn a person to teach me..

You probably won't find anyone here that's willing to hold your hand and teach you C#. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Your best bet is to just jump in and try a few things. Maybe start off easy with customizing a few existing classes. Just remember that Uber Swords are not the cat's pajamas, and we don't really like seeing loads of those in the script submissions anyway

Then just work your way up. Just remember that if you have problems with a script that you are working on then you can post in Script Support for some help.

C# is good, but before i knew RunUO was C# i tought i was C++ so I learned that first ;S

Hey im learning c# too and im looking at a site that i think explains it very well... Even I understand it. You must register to see the toturials.
