Logging with a certain ip - RunUO

First of all hello

The shard i usually play in is down because they are changing it so support SE. Now since i got bored and wanted to try SE before they put shard up again i downloaded the emulator, installed it and some stuff from nenrun sorry if the name is misspelled!
Now if i log with my lan ip there is absolutely no problem. But if i log with the internet ip, or the ip other ppl need to play it on, my client freezes while connecting.
Some of my friends have shards and that doesnt happen to them... and i cant get my bored friends to play on it : /
I have disabled firewall and still some problem, although i have a rooter and that may be the problem. I´d really like to fix it but i have no idea what to do.... pls help me

you need to forward your router port 2593, and also go download mr.fixit's serverlist.cs it works out of the box, all you need to do is change shardname.

You need to edit your Serverlist.cs

The comments within the file will tell you what to do, I suggest you follow them.

Oh thanks, but how do i open .cs files?

Hmmm how do i open that port?
and can u plsss attach that server list

Btw i dont know my password if i want to log into the rooter´s site... i know its bad but is there anyway i can get it like when u loose a password for example here?

Reset your router

If that doesn't work contact the support for your router, ask them to help you, because we can't help you with that.

Ok i made some progress... i got the port opened i can use the ip that i was unable to use But ppl cant still get in my server. they say that after they click my server it says "the client does not attach the server" So i think it has something to do with serverlist.cs? Hmm i would download it if i had a link or knew where to get it...

Use the serverlist.cs that Mr.Fixit posted. Just change the shardname.

Yes

Open up Serverlist.cs and follow the directions

Ok, i followed instructions and now only 1 person could go in... the other got stuck at creating chara... so il download mr. fixits´s serverlist. Thans again to everyone who helped!
My questions might not be over for i have lots stuff i dont know how to do ingame
