Default Admin, help my bro.

Greetings, recently my brother has signed up for the RunUO, he has also subscribed to the life subscription, well paypal is in the process of doing this, but for some reason he cannot post or make threads, when he clicks either of these buttons he is told access is denied and either an admin has blocked his account or its awaiting activation, he hasnt got any activation emails or the such, anyway his forum name is Light so any help would be grateful.

Cheers

Thread moved as General Discussion is NOT a support forum.

I will bring this to the attention of the powers that be.

If he has a spam filter have him check wherever it puts spam for the activation email. If this forum is setup with default registration timers it should send another one in a week or so.

Somebody with user access can switch him over to registered but its probably not a speedy option. If you really want to contact ryan or another site admin irc chat may be your best option.

If all else fails just sign up again and hope the email makes it that time.

Already checked the spam filters, and its been a while since he registered the account, just only recently became interested and got a life subscription < hence the reasdon why he dont wanna create another account, oh also how long does it take for subscription to become active the money is gone from my bank account but i think PayPal takes a while to get it to the ruNUO guys, is there anyway to check on status?

It was instant with mine but I was activated at th time. Not sure if that would cause problems or not.

Try the irc chat.

download mirc at www.mirc.com
install it
put some info in for your name and such
near the bottom of the main screen in the chat area
type
/server irc.runuo.com
press enter
type
/join #runuo
press enter
you should end up in the main runuo chat room.

Chino, same thing happened to me. For some reason I did not receive an email checked my spam filters but nothing (probably related to my email service tho), I changed my email address and then I received an email to confirm the change, after this I was able to post in the forums. Have your Bro try this...
