Question Cloak of dragon charming

Been trying to create a cloak wich lets you walk unoticed by drakes and wyverns.
Im not wery good at scripting, but been playing around with some different possibilities.

1.
Trying to change drake.cs , around its attack mode, to checkfor item on a certain layer.
2.
Played around with necromancer's charm features (i.e when casting Serpent Familiar, but kinda has me stuck)
3.
Attempting to let the cloak itself calm all nearby drakes by checking if in range.

I dont have anything that would be even close to compile yet, but Im learning some usefull things afterall.
Just asking for some thoughts on wich way would seem best to go at it?
