Logging In? - RunUO

when i try to long into my shard... it shows its all going good.. and after i create the character.. it just shows Welcome to RunUO Testcenter... and stays black... and doesnt bring up that actual player screen... someone please post why this happens!

Did you happen to select a Ninja or Samurai without owning UO:SE?

There are a few things that can cause this.

1. You don't have the port forwarded properly in your router.
2. You don't have your serverlist.cs set up properly.
3. You don't have the port forwarded in your firewall.
4. You are using the wrong version of UOGateway.

For problems 1 and 3 I would suggest just double checking them.

For problem 2 use the serverlist.cs that Mr.Fixit posted. With this serverlist, only change the shard name, do not enter your IP information.

Make sure that your client is patched up fully, that is version 4.0.8a for both the 2D and the 3D client, and make sure that you have the latest UOGateway. That is currently 1.9.1265.

You can also use No-IP to make sure that your players have an easier time to log in.

Of course what psz said could be it as well

i run off a hub, do i have to forward port 2593 even if there is no program firewalling it

If you have no router or firewall, then no, port forwarding can not be done.

Are you sure that Windows Firewall is disabled?

no it is not disabled, but i can disable.. just worries me that something could go wrong if i do... can u tell me what to do to get into my hub's settings so that i can forward the port through the firewall.. that is all i need atm..anyone?

and also i just setup a no-ip.com account and redirected my ip.
it is now uoworld.no-ip.info
what type of redirect, a DNS host or Port 80 redirect? wasn't quite sure which one would do the trick

gotta play the waiting game now...heh

well this problem has happened since the new version of RunUO has come out... and this is what it looks like and it doesnt change after this.. all that happens is the text fades away and it stays the same without the text

someone please post how or why this can be fix

wow i feel soo stupid its cuz of SE.cs i didnt know it was set to true when u download it change it to false and u get on
