Default Question about Worldmap

The shard I work on has Standard OSI facet maps, but we have made slight alterations here and there to put that personal touch in there.

We have several special areas that were created on typically blank areas. (Green Acres, blank black areas near dungeons, etc.)

What I would like to do is find a way to make this alterations and new areas visible on the Worldmap?

We've all seen our Boat or House appear on the Worldmap, but is there a way to make (Custom added) Floor Tiles and Dungeon Walls visible on the Worldmap.

I think this should be done by the client as long as you freeze them and distibute your statics.mul files.

Did you do your alterations in World Forge to the map, or did you manually build (or use UOAR) your additions in to the world while in game?

If you modified maps with world forge you need to make available the modified mapx.mul file depending on which one you modified. You can also do diffs, but I'm not completely sure as to how those work, if they will allow you to have a land mass in Felucca that won't appear in Trammel or how they work actually.

If you manually built your additions in game either by hand or with UOAR or The Box if they were done in game you will need to make your staticsx.mul and staidxX.mul files available.

Anyone have an knowlege of how the static diffs and map diffs actually work?

After you freeze them.

UOT's post pointed me in the right direction. I haven't finished all the steps needed to make it visible to players yet, so I don't know 100% yet if the changes I'm doing now will correct my problem. But I do have my fingers crossed. :P

BTW: Alterations were made with basic [add functions and The Box.

I have already taken the steps needed to enable "Freezing".

Thank you all for the help. I'll be sure to post here any errors I get, or any new problems that arrise.
