How to add scripts? - RunUO

Ok so this is my problem... I have taken scripts off the Archives and i cant seem to figure out how to add them to my server... i go in scripts>items>the i make a custom folder and i add the scripts in it (all of them are items and i have tried just adding them to the pre-made folders) help me?

by putting the scripts in the Scripts area (anywhere the main installation Scripts folder) those scripts will define item classes that are then available to be added in the game. To add them you should be able to just do an

[add yournewitem

where yournewitem is the class name in the item scripts that you added.

or spawn them by entering yournewitem as a spawner entry.

ok i think i have mis-explined it... when i put the scripts in the script folder and then try to run the RU server thing the black screen thing with the word saves goes up but when it says:Scripts : Compiling C# scripts... instead of going smoothly it says: Failed and then puts the failed items...

one thing that helped me was I made new folder called it custom, and put it inside of the scripts folder..then anything that i downloaded i would put it in that..just a little easier to manage...but on to your problem..without seeing what your errors are..would be nice if you could post the error log..but i am assuming some of the errors could be duplicates of stuff you have, or you didnt add in all the stuff you needed or make the modifications to all the files you need to...

That's because of problems with the scripts. It is quite possible that they simply arent compatible with 1.0.0.

As alcore said, you will need to post the exact errors in order to get help in fixing them.
