1. while going around and checking spawns and trying to set things up mostly 'uo like' I have found that some things are not in their places are missing or its been moved to another place on the map. the example is in ish where the water eles spawn, on uo there is a camp there that you can also do you banking, on runuo the same type camp is a few screens to the right. Is the camp a core file to uo? or is it something that a spawner may of set? I havent seen anything where a spawner would, but I cannot rule that out. I have noticed other spots that are also placed different from uo and I just wanted to make sure its not a bug or something that I may of done.
2. Is there a way that is not to complicated where you can save a stock building that you customized in game? or a building that you created from scratch using pandora's box? I ask this in case there is a core update that recomends a install from scratch, or if I need to start over that I may be able to save some time by having the ability to save the work to transfer to the new install.... I am open to any ideas thanks |

Um...from the top.
The camp was **PROBABLY** spawned... if it wasn't, well...I dunno. You can add the camp in the correct spot--there's an item for it, but I forget which. 2. I think the UO Architect is what you're looking for for the second problem. Not sure if that's everything you're looking for, but that should work for most of your problems. Good luck.

as for uo architect, I am courious, will it save a house that has been customized in the game? what I did is take 5 of the largest custom foundations and put them side by side, i made openings to connect all of them and they look like a large strip mall, I have just finished decorating the first floor and will be working on the second soon. I have this all surrounded by a 2 story stone wall with 2 door gates. Its starting to look really good and I have had the concern that if I need to do a fresh start that I will have to rebuild everything from scratch. I built these using the custom settings in the game so I wouldnt have to setup something for everyone to download. that may be the only route for me to take and still save everything and I am greatfull for the responce. thanks |

now THAT...I dunno.
I think there is a tool that takes statics and "saves" them in some format it understands (might be UO Architect...) that you can then re-add later. Go check out UOA 'n' then we'll talk more. heh.

gator if this is what your talking about ( and i hope that it is
)if you type [save in game it saves to a saves folder where you have runuo at. just open your folder and look for the folder saves. test different ones in that folder or just every time you do a start from the begining just drag your saves folder to the fresh one hope that helps ...phaera ![]() |

Well I checked out UOA and you can save custom houseing to be placed somewhere else on the same shard or for a new build or anyplace. It took me awile to get it working right but once I did it is nice, and I seen that even when you build something in tram and you want the same thin in ful they it would be easey to move. The only thing that I have to still learn is the copy does not have the props you would expect for the signpost so you can do any costom changes or setting the owner or to trade it to someone, after I can get that figured out then i will be set as for the customs. |

the save would put everything back but if the core changed to much then there would probally be alot of errors. also if by making a copy of the custom you have the ability to duplicate what you have in tram with ful alot easier. but I will keep that in mind, I try to make regular backups beyond the in game save. thanks |
