Default Convert Buildings from static?

Ok total newb question I know but I have searched the forums and cannot find anything clear enough to understand. :/. What we wish to do on our shard is change things such as blackthorn's castle and such. That are rarley used from static to non static to reduce lag. Is this something that is possible, is there a script for it, sorry to bug ya about this but we're trying to make it better for our players and be lag-free. Thanks in advance.

Static objects do not cause lag, so removing static objects doesn't make sense unless you want to remove them for a different reason.

What Phantom said -- If you're trying to reduce lag, don't add much to your world, and reduce the number of facets available -- having people spread out all over forces the server to load all the maps, instead of say, Trammel, Felucca, and Malas, which would reduce lag somewhat (provided someone was in Ilshenar or Tokuno). If you add a lot of non-static items to your world, not only will it slow down load/save times, it will incrementally increase lag times.

So...I'm not sure if maybe you misstated your question, or if you just didn't quite understand how it worked, but almost everything in the towns are already static/frozen.

If you really want to non-static them, I believe you would have to use the [unfreeze command. It is a headache, and forces all your players to download new maps so that you're looking at the same thing. Otherwise...you see blank space, and they see castle.

If I didn't get your question somewhere in there, post again and I'll try again.

Non Static, or Dynamic, or Nonfrozen - Makes lag
