Try Sharp Develop here. Download the first one that says with setup, no source code.

I promise you Visual Studio Express 2005 Beta 2 does have the ability to compile your scripts. You just didn't take the time to learn the IDE good enough to do so. But using VS2k5 Express Beta 2 for the purpose of writting RunUO scripts, is sort of pointless, since it uses the wrong Framework and there are methods that have changed.

So use SharpDevelop, but I suspect your going to have the same problems. I do hope you got the right version of Visual Studio Express 2005 Beta 2, C# is the version you wanted

Yes there is a compiler, you just don't know how to use the program, don't spread lies.

I HAVE VS2k5 Express on my computer, I recompiled the core to work on a project I plan to release, you just don't know how to do it.

Your going to have the same problem, with sharpdeveloper, so I suggest you consult the help documents.

I will give you a hint, doing a build is doing a compile.

Did you install it?

Its a web install, since its a beta version and it would be a huge download otherwise. If its not a web install you don't have the express edition.

Its an installer that downloads want you need, it doesn't contain any archive files.

I have no idea what you downloaded but it wasn't Visual Studio 2005 Express.

Use Sharpdeveloper since its free and supports RunUO

Visual Studio 2005 Express Beta 2 uses the .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2 which would be pointless to use with RunUO since RunUO is compiled on the NET frameowork 1.1
