inabling users to patch - RunUO

I have talked to a few people about getting my players to patch. I know how to freeze items. I just don't know how to get players to be able to get the files after I finish. I was told to use uo gateway but am not all toghater sure how to do that. I was wondering though. Couldnt I just email them the files and have them put them in with there uo files. Does the same thing doesn't it. Its not like I have lots of players or anything. Thanks in advance.

You could email them I suppose, but it doesn't do the samething.

Place the files in a rar file, upload to a website, set link to that archive in your uog account.

Additional questions on this UOG Account should be directed towards the UOG support staff at thier website.

small enough user base, you could e-mail them each. the question is, why do the work yourself when UOG will do it for ya? put the patch file up on some web space and head over to the UOG forum. there's instructions there on how to have UOG patch your users clients.

I suggest stop asking the same thing over and over. This is like the third thread you've asked this question. Last time you asked it, I told you that you could find a place like geocities or angelfire to host your patch. Listen to when people help you.
