Mini-Battles / Men (question)

Ive been playing with my own runuo shard for quite some time and am finally starting to make something thats more serious in mind rather then just playing around. Id like to make a shard for my cousin and brother when they are over (Ive walled in that gypsy camp with some little hills and moutains and some grass areas in it, the gypsy camp near the gargs and compassion shrine in ilsh, to the south, nice area) Im still working on houses and what not to make it looks like a village, but my real question is, I want to have mini battles happening, say 20-30 militiamen and 10 orcs maybe, or a drake or two. I can usually do this just by making spawners near eachother and spawning them all at once, it accually is really interesting and fun to watch and particapate in them! But, what I want to do, is make my own men, the only ones I know to use are militia men and those fraction dumbies, the dumbies are funny because they are abit stronger but they kill eachother if they arent in the same faction. So if you could just tell me how to maybe creat my own creature/human, Id like to be able to outfit him as well with just some simple ring and plate, and beable to spawn them. There are several examples of how to write your own npcs, within the default scripts.

If you would like help writting it, would be very nice if you post what your stuck on, then alot more people would be willing to help you.

I'm just going to throw in some additional advise about that as well... What Phantom said is completely correct, there is a whole bunch of example (balanced) mobiles in the distro scripts, but also if you want to make them a bit more... interesting... learn how isenemy works and how Opposition groups work. heh those two things can make some mobiles alot more interesting.
