Default Pls Help

where do i put the custom maps.?

how can i set a starting point lets say i put everyone to start in moonglow and i dont want anyone to be able to leave the town of moonglow how can i block them?

i really want to build a room that everyone will start in how do i go about doing this??

where do i put the Locationediter, pandorabox, regioneditor, watchuo files etc....

how can i edit the map like take down moonglow bank and just have a open space or add stairs etc...

I want to know if the only folder i need to go in to to edit stuff is the RUNUO folder and not the install folder of ULTIMA ONLINE?????

You poor schmo, you're really asking for it from this crowd.

#1 start locations Runuo/scripts/misc/charactercreation.cs look for a line like this
private static CityInfo GetStartLocation( CharacterCreatedEventArgs args, bool isYoung )
That will get you started on started locations

#2 Get insideuo find the graphic you want to make the wall out of and type
[add static ####
(#### is teh number from the graphic you want to place.

#3 I dont use those programs but I am sure there is documentation with them just read how to install it. i am sure it is there.

#4 To take down the moonglow bank you will need to unfreeze your statics.
[unfreeze then just delete the portions you dont want. To add stairs see #2 above.

#5 you will need to edit some files in the UO install if you are going to cutomize your map.

Hope that gets you started.

Here's a good sticky post from down in the script support section written and compiled by M that will adress some of your questions:
Stuff to try & know when requesting help (Common Problem Solutions).

Also another good stop for you to check out would be down in the Utility Support section of the forums and check out some of the posts in the LearnUO team section. While down there, check out some of the posts in the third party program support as well...you might not find exactly what you are looking for but it couldn't hurt Good luck
