Quick Question From A Newbie :( - RunUO

I downloaded RunUO and installed and did everything, ran the server it connected fine, did the UOG local server to logon, but it freezes after i create char, im only running on Renaissance, would that be why? is this RunUO only compatable with like AoS +???

I dont want none of the new stuff, i want old Pre:UOR is there anyway to get a server back that far?

You can still connect, though...just update your client.

If you want the "old old" stuff, you're going to need to go through all the scripts and modify whatever needs modification. Turning off AoS is easy, though (AoS.cs)

If you do some looking around you wont have to look to far to find one...
*not using the classic 'do a search' response, just giving as much as I can say without advertising in a post*
Its a ton of work to do almost anything beyond turning off a few engines and restricting access... otherwise there would be a bunch more out there so if your gonna have a go at it, just be prepared for some long nights

Also something else to be aware of, you will most likely need to do a lot of mods to the core and probably wont be able to get much 'official' support if you have a modified core... not saying others wont help you, but it will be much harder to get help from the general population.
