I mistakenly deleted myself thinking I was deleting my characters. is there a way to get back admin without destroying the whole shard and starting over? now every time I log on its as a player, is there perhaps a file I can replace?

Do a revert to an earlier save.

(You do have backups, right?)

I found a post that said delete saves folder and youl get the admin prompt so I went that rout.

But if you dont mind just so I know, how would I revert to a backup? I need to learn how to bback my shard up still. I see the back up folders but do I just drop them in or what?

Doing so will also delete every account, mobile, item and any customization you have done to your shard.

You need to replace the contents of your /saves folder with the ones in /Backup.

To DO a backup, just copy /saves and place in a folder someplace else, since the ones in /backup will be overwritten whenever your shard saves.
