Hopefully a few other people will benefit from this question, but here goes:
I'm up to the point where I want to limit guard interference in a shard. My shard is called "Chaos" so I want to well...keep that thought rolling when you are playing. What I want guards to do is be more realistic, so when you attack someone/steal/poison or WHATEVER you do, then the guards will attack only if they are around. So have them on a spawn region through each town, and they have their little paths they walk or whatever, and if they happen to catch someone in view or ear-shot, then they attack. Also, I don't want guards to be that strong...like one-hit kills are a no go. Maybe make them as powerful as a skeletal knight or something in that range. I know its possible because I was on a free shard a month ago and saw it. I searched the forums and couldn't locate anything that stated this in the least... any help ?? Thanks in advance...believe it or not, my list of stuff to topple is getting shorter and shorter every day! |

Sounds like you're trying to make them have patrol routes. I think faction guards are like that or funtion in such a way. As far as making them less strong, you may want to look at Greystar's Killable Guards script. I use it on my shard and it makes the guards much more fun.

Yes, thank you. Although if anyone has any more detail that would be a great help. I saw that killable guard dealy, but I mainly just want to disable them altogether and then perhaps I could add that faction guard stuff. Anyone feel free to throw something out there. Like what scripts will I have to edit to make the guards stop teleporting and all that jaz...if I can at least find the scripts responsible that would help. Thanks all for the help!!
