Ummm yeah..... How Do I connect to server if admin/admin or administrator/administrator does not work? I think my dad set up it but he won't tell me. Any help?

um... you can still get in as a player.. but if you want admin he will have to give it to you through the [props menu

this is the message i get after running runuo 2.0, i extracted to its own folder in program folders. once i run it it starts out ok, then i get this message.

Best wishes to you bro. A friend at work had the same ordeal. He lost his sense of taste,but is doing ok now. Go after disability asap,as it takes awile.

Sorry for my prolonged absence. I have been going through alot in life. i found out months ago that i have a cancerous tumor in my sinus. I have been very sick and lost my job because of it. Right now at this point it's very hard for me to get to my specialist.. who is the closest one to me. He is located in napa, CA and im in clearlake, CA. i have been losing weight steadily over the past few months. I was getting very sick at work, throwing up and gagging all the time.. so i didnt know what was up. I went to the doctor a week later and they did a bunch of tests and violated me in more ways then one. They shoved a camera through both sides of my nose, where they discovered the tumor. It is located in the very top of my sinus at the bottom of my brain. I have been in the hospital for weeks at a time, i go home for a week, and end up going back. Right now im on about 13 diferent prescriptions to keep me kicking.. including harsh steroids which arent cool at all. At this ppoint in time.. they are giving me 6-12 months max WITHOUT surgery. But WITH i should kick along a good solid life. It is a difficult and scary time in my life for me, right now. i usually end up having to spend my food money on prescriptions. At this point, my surgery date is still unknown and my first specialist appointment is on the 29th of this month at dr. healys in napa, ca. So far my surgery includes a tonsilectomy, adnoidectomy, and removal of nasopharyngeal mass, and sinus reconstruction. During the course of my sickness i devoloped a severe infection which spread to my blood, and nearly killed me. At time time i was in the hospital for 5 days, and had to get two shots of penicillin in my ass, and a massive shot of steroids. the hospital here (st. helena clearlake) Takes care of me pretty good.. but they do have there asshole nurses who think they are gods.

Anyways. I felt responsible to tell you guys. I still cannot beleive i have been talking to most of you for more then 6 years.

Gosh, Nomad, I am so sorry. I started with RunUO a while back but got sidelined as well. Nothing so serious though. I am trying to finish getting my shard to where I want it for now and thought I would start at the beginning and re-read all the stuff I did originally. That is when I saw your latest update describing your health problems. I am very glad you/they discovered what it is and that the prognosis is good if you follow through with the surgery.

I remember being very new and your guide was a great help in encouraging me and giving me a few hints and helping me to feel like I could do this. I wish you a speedy recovery and a long life full of good times and good friends. Long Live UO and Nomad 707!!!

Not sure if this will help. But under connectivity, another way to get your ip is thru your start menu. Press the start button,click on run, type in cmd, then in the window that pops up type ipconfig
it will give you your ip address. And if you arent connected to the internet you can always run your shard with the ip of 127.0.0.1 for LAN connectivity. If you run on dial up, which i strongly dont recommend, and have a chaging ip. Get an acct. on No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP it will help you out a lot.

This guide is split up into categories, and subcatecories. Categories are named after what they are describing, and subcatecories are named after what they are describing-in greater detail. Muahahaha, its simple, i promise.
The basics.
Did you download runuo yet?! Go do it! and make sure to download Runuo 2.0 The latest release. Why? Because this new release completely dusts 1.0, and alot of new cooler scripts are out for 2.0, And 2.0 is alot more effecient. After downloading Runuo, and BEFORE installing, Verify that you have Microsoft .net framework 2.0 Otherwise the install and runuo will NOT work. Now that you have the framework, Go ahead and install Runuo. Once installed, Go to your "Runuo" folder, and start runuo 2.0. A black box or "console" will appear, leave it open, this is the server. Soon it will ask to create an administrative account, do so, And make your username and password something that is not obvious.
I will return to this site to continue to share with everyone on this issue. Please wait me.
