Default No Ennemis inside the game?

Hi

I've been able to set up RunUO to work. Used a client to connect to everything is working fine. Able to connect, create a player and so on.

What's bug me is: inside the game, I've been unable to find any enemies at all.
I've played for more than 2 hours, run from one corner to the other corner of the map from where I've started, noway to find any enemies.

Even my first quest ask me to kill minions and I can't find anything to kill.

Is there's something not well configure with my server? Is there a config I've missed which enable enemies?

Thks

You need to add all the monsters and NPCs yourself. You can edit the spawner.cs if you want to modify the defaults (range, spawn rate, etc) then use this command:

[add spawner tailor

to add a tailor, for example. For bigger spawns you can do

[add spawner dragon set count 5 homerange 50

so it will spawn 5 dragons within a 50 radius of the spawner. Actually, don't think it's radius per say, more like a square.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I'll go check if there's a package which will generate this for me. I thought enemies would have been configured with a "default" setup or something similar.

Nerun's Distro is a good one, I use it and has all the default OSI sapwns all over my shard.

Just for information sake.

Would it be alot harder for people to change the spawns if there was a default one added with the server? I understand that they'd leave it blank and all since noone want a replica of thier server running sumwhere and ofcourse if there was a pre config then thered be WAY 2 many UO servers up ratehr than just the servers of those who actually go through the trouble of learning how UO works.
