Hi All, need a little help please - RunUO

First of all hello everybody!

I used to run LW emulator many years ago and just now started to get back into it. I installed RunUO 2.0 RC1 installed fine server up and running.

I am on a local network only right now. Regardless of what computer I am running it on whether my own computer with the client on it or my server, it does not allow me to connect. Just sits at the connecting screen and then says try back in a few minutes.

I saw all the posts on connection issues, but none with anybody having local connection problems.

I am running ConnectUO. IP Address 192.168.2.101 (my ip) and port 2593.
Edited the ServerList.cs with that address.
UO client is fully patched the downloaded one from EA.
Verion 5.0.7.2

I am kind of confused as to why it would not allow me to connect to the server even on my own computer.

Anybody have any ideas?

try connecting with 127.0.0.1 if all you want to do is connect threw the network right now.

Yes, I have tried that, it still gives me the same could not connect please try back in a few minutes which is really strange. All addresses are pingable.

Did you create your admin account befor you tried to log on.

Yes, when I first started the server I did.
It is in the accounts.xml file as well.

Go to UOGateway site and download the Mr Fixets serverlist.cs back up your old one and replace it with that one.

also, try using Razor cause ConnectUO used to not allow connections on the same computer (if this is no longer true, please tell me

I just tested it and i did connect to my test server on this PC with 127.0.0.1

Mr Fixits did not work.

Just to verify I have UO:Mordains Legacy. In my Expansion.CS I have tried .ML and .AOS neither has worked. I tried to use razor but couldn't figure out how to get it to see my server.

Also In case anybody missed it I am using 5.0.7.2 verision

Your not worthy of playing UO go jump off a bridge.

What port are you useing in the serverlist.cs and make sure it is the same as the one you are putting in connectUO. Also make sure you are typing everything in correctly.

Finally,

It was in fact ConnectUO that was not working for me. When I tried Razor it logged right in. I must have have had an older version of razor installed. When I re-downloaded it and re-installed it I logged right in. thanks for your help guys.

What? Thats one of the first things people should post when they have a problem, it usually helps find the answer.

You might of had a typo in connectUO. That is the only thing i have ever seen not work to connect when another program such as UOG and Razor worked.
