Default Lexicon - Can we get one?

Hey folks, we new people sometimes start stumbling over some of the phrases that are common parlayance here. This is a thread that, with the help of our more experienced folks, will hopefully lead to having a full lexicon to look through.

As answers are given and confirmed, I'll add to the list here, and hopefully one day we'll see this stickied.

What are/is?:

BOD -Bulk Order Deed, in default UO they are deeds given out by tailors & blacksmiths requesting bulk amounts of items to be made and added to the deeds. Once the items are added to the deeds they can be returned to the type of vendor that gave them out for a rewards. These are used for basic craftsman quests. There are also several custom BOD systems that can be found in the script release sections that add other crafting BODs such as carpentry, fletching, and animal taming. (by Stormwolff)

Distro - It is most often used to describe the files and/or "scripts" that come in the RunUO download package. Pretty much anything you don't add in yourself falls under the distro file category. (by Stormwolff)

Gump - A collection of artwork that is sent to a client. If you are in game and say “help” then the Help Gump is displayed for you to see an example of a gump. (by DustBuster (paraphrased))

MUL file - MUL files are the local client files installed in your game directory that contain all the graphics and animations in the game. RunUO Server uses a value in its scripts to tell your local client which map locations, monster animations, etc. from those .MUL files to use locally rather than having to transmit the actual graphics over the Internet. Next question - What is the exact definition of 'Static' as it applies to UO?

And what is a 'Multi' and why is it called such?

static is items "locked" down in uo, trees, plants, rocks, or just items.

multis are building, basicly the buildings in town and houses placed by players
