Default IP issues

Well, I have a new issue. I have finally gotten RunUO 2.0 up and running, and I have edited the few scripts that I wanted to edit before beginning w/ my shard, but now I cannot seem to connect to the server, even from my own computer. I don't know why. I have tried everything that I can think of. The only thing I can think of is possibly creating a port for my router, but I can't do that either, because my router firewall seems to be requesting that I put in a 10-digit port number (i.e. xxxxx-xxxxx). I tried to make such a port, but UOGateway will only accept up to a 5-digit port number. Anyway, anybody have any IP and port suggestions? Perhaps I'm just doing it wrong.

P.S.: I can't get onto any UOGateway shards. Just discovered this...so that may be the issue. But I still don't know why.

Have you tried using ConnectUO? Gateway connections were killed by OSI's patches after 5.0.9 and since it there are no plans for it being updated, gateway even suggests you use ConnectUO. ConnectUO - Shard List Select Client Download on the left. You'll need Winrar to unrar the files.

It is more likely that it requests a port range ... you will most likely want to forward port 2593 ... if it still insists that it wants a range, just enter 2593-2593
