Well I had a DSL Modem and I learned how to porrt forward.
Here Try Opening Up Run. When you open run, type in CMD. When the Black Box prompt comes up, Type in ipconfig. It will bring up your ip status. Look for your Default Gateway IP. Open up your browser and Type in your default gateway. It will then ask you for a Username And Password. Then you will log into your modem settings and you will have to find the Port Range Forwarding. Once you find the Port Range Forwarding, you will see a set of boxes. Type in 2593 To 2593 and Enable it. For better info, Visit this link I posted below. This is for Linksy Routers, but It can still help. *Note* When you do this, and a Page doesnt come up, Your Modem obviously doesnt need to port forward.
But still try it this is how everyone is suppose to port range forward. Theres other ways to do it, but I feel this is the easiest way. I hope I have helped you out some. ![]() |

Thanks for not sending a PM though. I've never used a zoom before, and TheRockstar is on the right track.A quick google search for zoom 5654 port forwarding brought up this link: Port Forwarding for the Zoom X4 5551 It may be similar to what you will see with your zoom. Well if your trying to find your Default Gateway it would usually be 192.168.0.1 or something like that. I might be off a little but Your default gateway is waht your suppose to use to log into your modem settings.
Also to let you know, your looking for your internet Ip address when your done port forwarding. |
