Default GM|Owner account loses [admin command ..

Okay, perhaps it is around somewhere, but I've been searching for the past 5 hours in the vain hope that I could perhaps find it and not post a new, rehashed topic.

First, let's go over what's happening:
Log into my admin account I setup in RunUO and UO, and it works fine for a character for just a few moments, then suddenly [admin is no longer available (you do not have access to that command). How do I fix it so that I can have a GM with access to the [admin command?

Have you edited anything that would change the access level of the character?

When you make a new character on the same account does it start out as an admin/owner with access to commands?

I did not edit anything in the character files, haven't touched them.

So far, the first 2 characters have done the same time, lost the [admin command about 10-15 minutes after having them logged in. I made a third and he is holding steady.

Are there any other people with Owner access?

If all else fails, you could completely break the authorization system, and add code to allow either a particular mobile (i.e. you), or a particular name to do stuff.

Note that that can be spoofed REALLY easily, so it's DEFINITELY not an ideal solution.

this smacks of a custom script that deals with access levels.

I've been experiencing the same problem, but as best I can tell in my case its a client problem, since I was attempting to set a server up using the Samurai Empire release which last I knew had a specific client feature that removed the ability for private shard users to accesss [ and . commands.

while we're on topic...
<_<
>_>

what is the newest client that will work with RunUO 2.0? I've heard mixed feedback, some saying 6.0.1.5, others saying 6.0.0.0, and amidst the flurry of version numbers, I've little idea which client versions came with which releases (of which I have LBR, AOS, and SE)

Any feeback would be very helpful to me, and hopefully to Minky as well ~.^

Thanks,
D.
