having trouble with a certain setting - RunUO

So I'm brand new to this whole hosting a server thing and I'm doing great but theres 1 major problem that i cant seem to find the answer to, why cant i pick up stuff into bags or put things on the ground? i have tried and tried and look through the whole forum and the entire list of commands. i have searched and searched everywhere and cant seem to find the answer to why this is happening. Please can Anyone help with this major set back??

Are you trying to access like another player's pack? Or simply trying to pick up objects of your own and move them around? Maybe check if the object is set to movable or not? Check the properties menu by typing [props and clicking the items to check if they're set to movable or not. Thats the only thing I can think of...

ok so basicly i fresh install the runuo client and go in and start trying to create items from the [add menu and w/e and when i click on my character for the target of the item it falls onto the floor instead of my pack, and when i try to pick it up and put it in my pack it wont go and the same with trying to take off items that i have on already and place them in my pack but also when i try to put them on the floor they just wont physically go there for w/e reason

Using the [add command will generate the item on the ground where you target. If you want the itm in your pack use [addtopack. Hope this helps.

i don't think you understand, NOTHING will make items go into my pack i can make them using [addtopack i can make them with [add i can pick them up off the floor and try to place them in my pack i can try to take off my newbie starting clothes and try to put them in my pack... NOTHING... and thus the same applies for the ground i cant place items on the ground unless its from [add it was this way from a fresh install of "RunUo 2.0 Rc1" totally and completely a fresh install and its doing this lets see if i can describe this better... its as if I'm trying to drag an item and drop it somewhere out of range it just pops back to the spot it was at and this happens Every single time i try to move an item from the floor to my pack or from being equip to the floor or into my pack i don't know how i can describe this so u guys can understand but in any case why is it doing it from a fresh install of runuo?? obviously its not suppose to be that way and i have looked on the forums i have ran searched and i cant find the answer to the problem anywhere and it seems as if I'm the only one that has had this problem ever???

What client version are you patched to? I remember seeing a thread about this problem involving the 6.0.0.0 patch.

um my version is 6.0.4.0 (patch 61) i currently play on the UO Demise server without any problems

also something i just noticed it seems as if the items I'm making are going into my backpack but when I'm looking at my backpack window they are not there but the backpack still says X amount of items in bag @ Y amount of weight

btw i have deleted and fresh installed it about 10 times now and its still the same problem, theres something wrong with the run uo i downloaded from this site or something and i have looked through the forums and i have found like 2 people with the same problem but the solutions for the problems are no where to be found

I'm not sure if the 6+ client is your problem but I would start looking there. There are several posts that deal with configuring your server for the 6.0.0.0 patch. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If you don't need the 6+ patch for your other shard I suggest reinstalling UO and stop patching around 5.0.7 or so.

is there a way to have 2 patchs on the same computer like if i want to have 1 patch for the server i play on normally and 1 for the server i want to host to recognize when starting up and w/e? so that i dont have to ruin being able to play on the other server just to be able to host a server and not have it messed up like this?
