ok im french so plz try to explain so i understand

kk here is my issue...
I got my server up and i can connect no problem from the same computor once it come to get some one from the internet to my server it not working can u tell me what i need to do here is all the info i can gives u from the RunUO guide :
like i said im not to good at computor and that the max image i can add ...
so ill keep goin on this with a reply

kk i got an image from my server running and i can connect from the same computor now my question is why other peeps can't connect from the internet i mean i called Videtron and they saying it is a public IP and it a static IP never change in my serverlist i tried to put as adress :

and i also tried with 74.57.174.101 as it my computor IP and the info i gave to my frined to connect in from ConnectUO i told him to tried bolth IP twice as i changed my IP on server list i just dont know what to do now im getting depressif

my firewall it not even up i just put it off to try but not working more .... i hope those image help u and sorry again i do my best but like i said im french. just tell me what i do wrong if any one can understand me me befor i trow my computor by the window :'(

I'm not sure about RunUO 1.0, but in 2.0 you would do this.

Code:

		public static readonly string Address = null;

		public const string ServerName = "A hope of dreams";

		public static void Initialize()
		{
			Listener.Port = 2593;

Instead of the IP Address, try using null; It should automatically detect your IP. But as I said, this is with 2.0. Not sure with 1.0. Worth a try.

Hammerhand your my rock!!! heh it working now!!! so i just need to learn how to script now hehe and get some program for deco my shard and all what a shard need ... so if u guys have some good link for scripts that i can download ill be more then happy to have them

btw if anyone want to give me a hand when they got free time let me know ill make u an account and as i backup my shard all the time i can event make u as admin im not affraid :P

I'm glad that worked Cindy. Since you are using a 1.0 shard, go here and search for addons and such. http://www.runuo.com/forums/custom-s...lease-archive/ These are mainly for the older 1.0 shards.
For decorating your shard and for building use Pandoras Box. This is a link to an older version that will work for your shard. Pandora's Box Mirror
You will need to make sure you have .net Framework 1.1 to run this.
The scripts in the archives are either in zip or rar file form. For the rar files, you will need WinRAR to open them. Good luck.

!!! i love u guys!! it really really appreciate!! am also using insideUO to get ID and just add manually it really working great but i did'nt know that Pandoras Box was still a good program im more confortable with it as that was the program i was using like 5yrs ago .... and guess what im goin to re download it asap hehe.
