Default Newbie question.

I've been working on a custom map off and on for almost a year now, and I can't seem to find the answer to possibly the n00biest question in this community....

How do I get my map into UO?

I remember it was something to do with copying UO files into another folder and replacing the original map file with the custom map file and running the server from that "install" location or something, but I can't remember any details... :\

Any help/link to a tutorial/criticism/etc. would be appreciated.

Also, I have no scripting done for it yet, but the paint is mostly there. I just wanna see how it all looks before committing to the ever so enthralling task of scripting it...

Thanks,
- CK

P.s. Ron Paul definitely gets my vote this year.

What format is your map currently in? If it still in some sort of art format you need to convert it to .mul format. Check out Ryandor.com - Maps for UO Emulation and Half-Life or OrBSydia DevNet .

I have Dragon Mod-9.

It's still in art form, yeah. I have tons of work to do until it's "finished," and it may not ever be finished... but I just wanna load it up and see what it looks like so far...
